It Ain't Shittsburgh...

Do you ever start listening to bands solely on their name? Butthole Surfers? Gnarls Barkley? Man or Astroman? I seem too do it quite often. How can you possibly pass up a group calling themselves Black Moth Super Rainbow?
The first time i visited their website, they posted a rejection letter from Warp Records stating that the company weren't interested in the band's sound and wouldn't sign them. Right off i knew i had found something special.
Hailing from Pittsburgh, BMSR create a blend of beats, detuned electronics and vocoder that brings to mind cracked out children's music. Very simple sounding but requires a truly open minded listener.
They recently posted a series of remixes on their site available to all.
