How high do you have to be to name your band after a dog? Fila Brazillia has been around for a good 15 years making all sorts of decent downtempo fodder for the laid back and disjointed. I happened upon their first album while visiting Vancouver for a summer vacation. Old Codes New Chaos was a great introduction but it wasn't until the next album that i was truly hooked.
I managed to catch their live show in Montreal a few years back and it really blew me away. Hopefully they'll get their shit together to tour another album.
