Downtempo is not the sun drenched TV friendly cliché of early 21st century any more. Bands seem to be incorporating more folk, space rock and soundscape weirdness than ever before. Low In The Sky released Dear Birds in 2005 to much praise but little airplay. Hopefully this doesn't deter them from making more cool tracks.
