Man i'm reading that last post from this morning and i'm thinking to myself, what a bastard! I really don't need to start the day like that.
The House of Love is one of my favourite late 80s bands that seemingly up and dropped off the face of the earth. To say that they were underrated is not saying enough. Getting lumped in with U2 soundalikes, HOL got left behind once Madchester hit.
I had the opportunity to meet singer Guy Chadwick as a very young 20something and found a man with a fairly dry wit but a bleak outlook on his musical future. Perhaps he's found a more rewarding pastime.

They put out a new album not too long ago: Days Run Away. Wasn't too bad, actually.
