Freaky Styley was high school for me. The Red Hot Chili Peppers had recorded a super punk funky album with George Clinton and i was skating up my own small town session spots on a regular basis. We tried to build a quarter pipe in an open field only to have it destroyed by slobbering red necks in bad Chevys.
Now the Chili Peppers make soap commercial appropriate light rock. I think i need to buy a new skateboard.
